CEREC CEREC is a CAD-CAM System to make fully ceramic inlays, onlays, crowns and veneers in one session and has been used successfully in large numbers of dental surgeries worldwide for about 25 years.

"OPTICAL CAST"
A small mouth camera takes an optical cast of the prepared tooth (prepared means caries and old fillings have been removed) at the start. The screen shows an exact, three-dimensional model of the tooth.
COMPUTER-AIDED DESIGN AND MANUFACTURING - CAD-CAM SYSTEM The tooth's missing part is designed on the computer (CAD) to the most precise level possible and then manufactured in a custom-fit form from a ceramic block by the computer (CAM).
APPLICATION The new Cerec part is fitted to the tooth using a special adhesive procedure.
